So it's been awhile hasn't it?

So what's new in AW?

1) Album #3 is almost done. We finished re-mixing it last weekend and are waiting on the master. I can't believe what I am hearing. I speak for all of us (I hope) when I say we are really proud of this album and is definitely our best to date.

2) Shows. Yea! We have some!! The Brothel in Cleveland on the 6th. Mr. Roboto Project on the 7th. That's in Pittsburgh. Also, the 19th we are playing with those dudes, The Misfits. That's at Peabody's.

3) We have some new jams in the works. We love to write jams. No working titles yet. Sorry

Summer of Hate Continues

Thank you for your attendance at the Summer of Hate Fest. We all had a good time and no negative vibes made for a great show.

We are playing at Chuck's Steakhouse in Akron, OH tomorrow, so come on down for fun times.

Next Thursday, the 26th, we will be at Tequila Ranch as part of the Scene Festival. $5.00 admission for the whole festival. Quite a deal.

On August 26th, we willmake our New York City debut when we play The Hook in Brooklyn. Way stoked for this one.

As far as The Lonely Ones progress, we are still looking at labels and seeing what fits us best.

Studio: Day Three

We are finally done tracking everything. We are literally beginning the mixing process as I type this. Mixing is when you sit and listen to the same songs for 4 hours and determine if it sounds cool. It's not as fun as it sounds.

Mike Bridavsky (aka Engineer/Russian/Producer/5th Member of AW) introduced me to Kombucha. If you are unfamiliar with Kombucha, it is fermented tea. It smells like sewer water and tastes what I would imagine sewer water to taste like. It did however give me tons of energy.

Not much else to tell at the moment. Things are going well and this new set of material has exceeded our expectations. I can't wait to get it on a cd so I can play it in my car.

Back to mixing.

Studio: Day Two

Day Two is winding down here at Russian Recording. We have 12 of 15 songs completed so far. So far its sounding like 1968 on steroids. It's hard for me to pick a favorite at this point but I would say that "Never Seen By Waking Eyes" and "Late At Night" are my top picks right now. The weather has been fantastic and recording vocals while coyotes howl 50 feet from the door certainly adds to the mood of the record. Time to get back to work. Be back tomorrow with more news.

Studio: Day One

We are back at Russian Recording finishing up work on album #3. As I type this, Trevor is laying down vocal tracks for "The Lonely Ones" and it is sounding huge. The songs are turning out better than we could have hoped for. We should be finishing up vocals today. I still have some guitar parts to polish up and we still have to add keyboards and organs. That's all for now.

Your favorite band in the world is playing tonight at Bernie's on High Street in Columbus. It's $5 to get in to the show so no excuses, unless you just don't wanna come in which case you are a baby. This show marks the debut of Samoan Rob on bass with American Werewolves. There is a lot of fun to be had tonight.

We're Back

Hello! We are back from recording our 3rd album, The Violent Years. We have been done for a few weeks actually. We have to go back to finish lead vocals and extra instrumentation but the basic songs are done and are sounding awesomer with each listen. We tracked 15 songs during the session and some of those include "The Lonely Ones", "Never Seen By Waking Eyes", and "For The Cursed".

As you have probably heard, Tony Scambony has moved to Virginia Beach, VA to pursue his tattoo career. He is still in the band in case you have heard otherwise. Our friend Samoan Rob (Crowd Deterrent) is filling in for us on live dates and his debut will be on April 11 at Bernie's in Columbus so come out and show him you aren't afraid of him.

Also, keep checking back with us because we have something pretty cool for you guys. It's a pretty cool idea we have and we wanna see how it works out.
